    Enquire now

Tun Yard houses eight offices/ workshop units and is home to a photography studio, publishing company, International Florists and more.

As the name suggests, Tun Yard was originally used as a Tun keg and bottle store for The Plough Brewery next door.

Dating back to the mid-19th century, the building is part-Grade II-listed and many of its original features have been retained, such as the brick-vaulted undercroft that runs into the hillside giving it great character.

All units are self contained and have WC's, kitchens and 3 phase power. Some units also have raised floors for cabling routes.

Tun Yard originally formed the keg and bottle stores to the adjacent Plough Brewery, it is traditionally built in London stock bricks with slate roofs. Parts of the building runs in to the hill side where there was once the 400ft deep artesian well. Here can be found a magnificent undercroft with brick vaulted ceilings.

The vaults also housed the deep artesian well that supplied the brewery with water, and the massive brick walls still show the indentations made by the barrels. Prior to being redeveloped in 1995 the yard was home to a diverse range of businesses, from a warehouse for former fashion label Chelsea Girl to a chicken-chopping factory.
