Fulham Good Neighbours supported by Marston Properties welcomed over 7000 visitors to Parsons Green Fair on a hot and humid Saturday in July.
With over one hundred stalls you could buy anything from hand thrown pots from Richmond to knitted bunting from Bishop Crighton House, cakes and jam from Fulham and Chelsea WI to chocolates by Eloise and homemade sweets from ‘Discover Islam’
Young children were instantly drawn to the sheep, goats and rabbits in the petting zoo while others rode on donkeys and others bounced, bungeed and slid their way to the candy floss.
With an ice cold beer or an Aperol Spritzer to keep them going accompanied by the delicious Bombay Street Food parents settled down to an afternoons entertainment on the performing stage where the biggest draws were Music’all ,Stagecoach and La Sylvaine dance schools who put on entrancing shows rounded off by Fulham Brass Band.
Established in 1895 Marston Properties in conjunction with Fulham Society displayed original photos of the various buildings around Parsons Green that have been built by the company over the years including Parsons Green Clinic, Fulham Town Hall extension and flats in Cassidy Road and Field Road.
