Purchased in October 2014, 170 Wandsworth bridge Road was opened for letting on the 5th September 2017 by Marston Properties construction director Peter Bull.
The former NHS medical centre had been squatted for a couple of years after it had become surplus to requirements. The building was in a terrible state but even so Marstons were required to market the property for a further 12 months to show the planners that there was no market for the existing use.
Planning permission was granted in January 2016 for 2 maisonettes and a studio flat with a retail unit in the ground and basement floors. Building works started in October 2016 and were carried out by the Marstons building team. The new units will be let by the Marston residential and commercial management teams.
All Marston employees were invited to see the newly completed project followed by lunch at Paggliacio’s nearby
