The area is well suited to those who like having somewhere to eat and drink on their doorstep- a large choice of Restaurants and wine bars are with in a few minutes walk - Pizza Express, Pitcher & Piano, Mao Tai, Blue Elephant & Beach,are just a few. There is a Tesco Metro Store on the Fulham Road and Budgens adjacent to Parsons Green tube

Fulham Palace is within Bishops Park. This is the restored house originally occupied by the Bishops of London now owned by the Borough . There is a cafe with informal slouchy sitting rooms looking out over the gardens as well as meetings rooms and office suites.

Transport:

Parsons Green underground station is around a 10 minute walk away
Buses numbers 14, & 414 on the Fulham Road, number 11 or 22 on the New Kings Road will take you to Fulham Broadway or Putney Bridge tube.
Parking is available by permit for householders at £99 per annum (check charges as this changes from time to time). Some flats have off road parking by separate arrangement.

Shops:

Shops such as Sweaty Betty, Butterfly, Oliver Bonas,T&G Clothing and Kath Kitson are nearby. Putney is just over Putney Bridge, a short bus hop where you can find a shopping centre with a Waitrose , Gap and Next.
