The Plough Brewery was purchased by Marston Properties in 1968 and converted to offices shortly afterwards. The building was refurbished and updated during 2002 to provide accommodation on five floors.

The Plough has a strong presence on Wandsworth Road and has considerable character being a grade II listed building. The refurbishment reflects the industrial nature of the original building so all wiring is in galvanised surface mounted conduits. There is also skirting trunking to use for tenants own cabling and telecoms.

 The Plough Brewery is situated on the north side of Wandsworth Road on the junction with Silverthorne Road.  Wandsworth Road is a main arterial route between Clapham Junction and Kennington and allows good access across the river to Kensington & Chelsea.

All the units are gas centrally heated and some areas have comfort cooling.  There is a four person passenger lift to all floors except the basement and an intercom entryphone system.  On site parking is also available.

The history of The Plough Brewery

 The site housed a brewery from the early 19th century when meadows and gardens stretched towards the river rather than Silverthorne Road.  Originally known as the Clapham Brewery it was renamed in the 1860's.  It has two artesian wells, the larger reaching a depth of 403 ft.  A large steel and applewood wheel mounted in the archway was part of the pump that would have stood at the head of the well.

In 1968 W J Marston bought the main building from Courage Brewery.  It was in a derelict state and was converted to office accommodation.

A compulsory purchase order was successfully challenged in 1975 and subsequently the site was Grade II listed.
