Our business is investing and developing property in London. However, our properties only derive value if they meet the needs of the people who use them.
- Understanding and relating to our local community.
We strive to understand the housing and business accommodation needs of our local communities. We do this by restricting the areas in which we invest in properties to certain postcodes that have comparable demographics so that we can understand each area well.
We are a “local” company;- our business is based from within the area of London where most of our portfolio is held. We relate directly to many of the issues that also affect our tenants.
We manage our entire portfolio in house, precisely so that we can respond to tenants’ changing needs.
- A relationship and communicating with our own tenant communities.
We provide and organise social informal gatherings for our commercial sites from time to time, in order for tenants to meet together and strengthen their own networks.
We strive to cater for the needs of our residential tenants - who may be moving to London for the first time, may not speak English, may need flexibility to move for their work, or may not be in a position to buy their own property yet.
- Providing a genuine service to our customers.
We provide a service to our tenants that goes far beyond simply handing over a set of keys when they sign on the dotted line to rent a property. This service includes a carefully thought through preventative maintenance programme and our in-house management team, who know each and every one of our properties - inside and out.
- Identify vulnerable residential tenants
We identify tenants who may require extra attention or help beyond the usual responsibilities taken on by landlords. This may be by helping elderly tenants claim benefits they are entitled to, or helping a disabled tenant with adaptations to the property.
